John Sisk & Son has reached the first milestone in its 2030 Sustainability Roadmap by being certified as a carbon-neutral business.
Sisk achieved certification under the Achilles Carbon Reduce Programme in early 2021 by having its 2019 baseline and 2020 carbon footprint externally verified. As well as achieving a reduction in carbon emissions during 2020, Sisk has also offset their outstanding emissions through internationally verified carbon reduction projects.
ohn Sisk & Son, in partnership with Quintain, is proud to have delivered a combined total of 1,201 new homes at two major new landmark developments E03 Canada Gardens and E05 The Robinson, Wembley Park. John Sisk & Son has been appointed preferred contractor by Moda for the Great Charles Street neighbourhood in Birmingham city centre, the second Birmingham scheme being brought forward in the Moda portfolio with funding partner Apache Capital. The Ludgate Hill Car Park redevelopment in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham includes 722 new homes as well as roof terraces, communal lounges and workspace, and a gym in addition to a new public realm and space for retail and hospitality businesses.
John Sisk & Son has been awarded the contract for the Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade Scheme. The project includes changes to the N8, the N25 and the N40 and links to the R623 in Little Island and Burys Bridge in Dunkettle while also making provision for pedestrian and cyclist facilities.
