Conor Gilligan, CEO, Roadbridge, says that the challenges presented by Covid-19 during 2020 were efficiently managed by the company as its existing systems allowed for continuous improvements through effective communication with its workforce. “We don’t settle on any one policy for too long,” explains Conor Gilligan. “We are continuously reviewing and adjusting our systems and policies to keep health and safety at the forefront of everybody’s thinking. Covid-19 placed new demands on the business in 2020, but we found it quite easy to innovate as we already had our integrated management system in place to facilitate engagement between management and staff on a continual basis. This means that any new directives or initiatives can be integrated seamlessly into the business.”
