LMC services

LMC offers clients a complete building services management package, from design and coordination to programming, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, demonstration, handover, decommissioning and total life cycle care.

The past year has seen steady growth in LMC’s facilities management company, LMC FM. While continuing to work with the Irish Prison Service, LMC FM has expanded the portfolio of assets it manages for the OPW and the HSE, among many other repeat clients.

Lydon and McConnell set up LMC Modular in 2017, initially focusing on manufacturing bathroom pods. Its turnover has been climbing by around 50% annually. Its bathroom pod production has achieved BOPAS accreditation this year.

LMC building services

On the building services contracting side, LMC had sites that continued operating during the pandemic shutdown, including social housing projects, and it managed to secure additional work throughout the year. This work included a large project in Newmarket Square in Dublin and a number of Department of Education sites with BAM, as well as residential projects with Townmore and Twinlite.

LMC’s fit-out department has also experienced steady growth, with LMC completing several projects, including a fast-track project with Fidelity Investments.

LMC Group used downtime during the pandemic to evaluate management teams across the group and add strength and depth to them.
