JJ Rhatigan project portfolio
JJ Rhatigan has a range of major projects currently underway or freshly completed. Amongst those delivered is the Student Residences Masterplan Phase 1 for UCD. The overriding major success of this project was that it provided almost 1,000 beds in time for the start of the university year last year. The end of 2021 also saw the company complete a public-private partnership (PPP) project as part of the Torc Housing Partnership consortium, which delivered a total of 465 social homes across eight communities nationwide.
JJ Rhatigan is nearing the completion of McGarrell Reilly’s ambitious Charlemont Square development, also in Dublin. Consisting of approximately 500,000 sq ft of office accommodation – almost half of which will be occupied by anchor tenant Amazon – it also includes over 260 residential units.
Other projects currently underway in Dublin include One Le Pole Square commercial development; Edmund Rice College in Castleknock; and Trinity College Dublin’s E3 Learning Foundry.
Regionally, it is in the final stages of hand-over on The University Academic Building for Maynooth University and is significantly advanced in its transformation of Crown Square in Wellpark, Galway, into the largest mixed-use development in Galway.
Over the next 18 months, JJ Rhatigan will continue to work on: the HSE Residential Care Centre in Tuam; two advanced building solution projects for the IDA in Limerick and Waterford; Phase 2, Student Accommodation in NUI Galway; and four post-primary schools across Limerick and Cork. Overseas, it is constructing mixed-use developments including The Landing, Maidenhead; Napier Gateway, Luton; and Abbey Place in London.
