Stewart Construction operates nationwide as a multi-award-winning building contractor with a specialist fit-out contracting division. It focuses on medium- and large-scale contracts across all sectors, including life sciences, commercial, industrial, residential/student accommodation, education, retail, leisure and hospitality.
The company portfolio includes some high-profile projects, such as the iconic Central Plaza building on Dame Street, Dublin; Heyday Carman’s Hall, 210-bed, six-storey student accommodation scheme, Dublin; a new 10-storey, 421-bedroom IHG hotel development – Holiday Inn Dublin Airport; and Dublin Airport Central – 20,000 sq m of Grade-A LEED Gold standard office space.
Most recently, the company commenced work on the first Nyx Hotel in Ireland (owned by Jurys Inn), a six-storey, 175-bedroom hotel overlooking the Grand Canal at Portobello Harbour in Dublin.
A continued partnership with Grifols sees the delivery of an additional biopharma facility at Grange Castle, Dublin, for the long-term global client. Stewart Construction has an extensive medtech/pharma portfolio of work, and it recently completed a contract for the design and construction of a new cell and gene therapy with a cleanroom facility for Hi-Tech Health Laboratories in Galway.
Some other ongoing projects nationwide include a new 650-pupil building for Mercy Secondary School in Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath; works at government buildings in Ballina, Co Mayo; works at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar, Connolly Vaults redevelopment works at Connolly Station, Dublin, plus five Aldi stores ongoing (80+ Aldi stores delivered nationwide by Stewart).
