Stewart Construction Projects
Stewart Construction recently delivered the 10-storey, 421-bedroom Holiday Inn Dublin Airport. Undertaken on a design and build basis, collaborating with an extensive design team and a specialist design-led supply chain, the hotel, one of the largest hotel developments in the country, was finished to a four-star-IHG hotel standard.
Works are nearing completion on the iconic Central Plaza building on Dame Street, Dublin. Undertaken on a construction management basis, works include the upgrading and refurbishing of the main tower’s existing office floors over seven storeys. Additionally, the top level of the Central Plaza tower will be transformed into a two-storey, glass-roofed structure that will house a restaurant, hospitality and viewing areas where visitors will have breath-taking views of Dublin’s cityscape.
A continued partnership with Grifols sees the delivery of an additional biopharma facility at Grange Castle, Dublin, for a long-term global client. Stewart Construction continues its extensive medtech/pharma portfolio of work, recently being awarded the contract for the design and construction of a new cell and gene therapy with a cleanroom facility for Hi-Tech Health Laboratories in Galway.
Other ongoing projects include its eightieth Irish Aldi store in Co Kerry, an MRI unit extension at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, and works for the Office of Public Works (OPW) in Co Mayo, works on the iconic Seapoint Ballroom building in Salthill, Galway, and Connolly Vaults redevelopment works at Connolly Station, Dublin, to name a few.
