Work on the N17 Gort to Tuam motorway network is expected to be completed by the end of the Summer. Two junctions that make up part of the Tuam bypass are set to open at the same time as the full Gort to Tuam motorway in November.
The project, led by the National Roads Authority (NRA) and a consortium of civil engineering companies, including Lagan Construction, will see the existing N17/N18 roads replaced and a multitude of bridges and underpasses constructed to ease congestion and remove bottlenecks.

Subcontractor RAPs Construction is working on a 21km stretch of the new motorway, which includes 17 bridges and nine underpasses.
RMD Kwikform has supplied its Paraslim table system, along with Megashor and Maxima Panels.
This RMD Kwikform video outlines how RAPs utilised the company’s systems.
