Designer Group Projects

The group’s latest international milestone projects include expansion into the Nordics, adding to its global presence, delivering the first of six phases of a high-profile 36MW data centre near Oslo. This mission-critical facility for a global data provider is powered with 100% renewable energy and is designed with efficiency at its core.

Other stand-out recent and current projects include One Nine Elms landmark towers, which on completion, will be the tallest residential towers in Europe. Linked together with a glazed bridge, the new development will provide over 730,000 sq feet of residential apartment space and panoramic views of London across the River Thames. Additional works at One Nine Elms include the complete MEP and fit-out package of the luxury Park Hyatt five-star hotel, which will occupy the first 18 floors of the river tower.

In Ireland, the electrical specialist works on two critical buildings within Technical University Dublin’s (TU Dublin) Grangegorman campus is another milestone project, which was completed in the spring of this year. TU Dublin’s history stretches back over 120 years, and Designer Group delivered this BIM level 2 project, which will bring TU Dublin’s various city facilities together in a single vibrant environment.

Designer Group Outlook

Designer Group anticipates continued growth to 2025 and beyond, with a strong order book of tier-one clients and a great range of projects in the pipeline. It is also actively recruiting new apprentices and bringing in new graduate engineers and surveyors to support its big growth plans.
