Civil Engineering Excellence Awards to be Presented at CECA Annual Dinner in September

The CECA Excellence Awards will be presented on the occasion of the 12th Annual Dinner of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association, which takes place on Friday 21 September at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin 4.

The CECA Awards, which are presented every two years, recognise the top infrastructure projects that have been completed by CECA members over the previous five years.

There are five award categories, four based on project size and one for Health & Safety, as well as an overall Best Project award. The judging process for the awards is now well underway. Finalists will be informed on 31st August. Each winner will be presented with a specially commissioned piece of Irish artwork to commemorate their success.

Judging Panel

The judging panel for this year’s awards comprises Tim Ahern, Chairman of Judging Panel; Maurice Buckley, Chairman, Office of Public Works; Martin Lang, Director, Main Contracting, CIF and CECA Director; Michael Nolan, CEO, Transport Infrastructure Ireland; and Jerry Grant, Managing Director, Irish Water.

About the CECA Awards

The overall winner will be presented with a specially commissioned piece of Irish art to commemorate their success. Each Category Winner will also receive an award.
