Chief Executive Officer Hardware Association Ireland Martin Markey, Minister of State Neale Richmond TD alongside, and Vice President of the Association, Senan Foley as they prepare ahead of Ireland’s leading trade fair, The Hardware Show 2024.

The Hardware Show 2024, run by Hardware Association Ireland and supported by Intact, is expected to attract over 2,000 merchants and industry professionals from across Ireland. It serves as one of the top shows for retailers and merchants.

The centrepiece of The Hardware Show is the 2024 Innovation Awards. The awards celebrate new and innovative products within the industry’s prominent sectors such as Build, Garden, Home and DIY. Exhibitors present their product to an industry led expert judging panel to earn the recognition as a key product in these selected categories.

Renowned architect Hugh Wallace is the chairman of the judging panel. The winners will be announced on the Sunday of the trade show ensuring that attendees will have the exclusive privilege of being the first audience to witness these groundbreaking products in person.

The Hardware Show 2024 will take place at the RDS Simmonscourt on Sunday 18th and Monday 19th February 2024. Entry is free for industry professionals and this year Hardware Association Ireland are delighted to confirm that there is free parking available for all pre-registered attendees, thanks to their sponsor Blåkläder.

The Hardware Show 2024 will bring together all the key industry professionals in one place over the two-day show. With over 160 exhibitors, there will be plenty of exclusive show offers and discounts. There are many stands to discover including the newest products, innovations and trends that are shaping the future across the hardware industry.

Speaking on the launch, Chief Executive of the HAI Martin Markey said that “The Hardware Show is an excellent opportunity for retailers and merchants to connect with suppliers, explore new products and gain access to a wide range of offerings for their business. It is a hugely significant event within the industry and also offers an important platform for making contacts in the sector”.

President Paul Candon said that “anyone who has attended The Hardware Show in previous years will understand that this is much more than a trade exhibition. Since our last fair in 2022, our research showed that 98% of visitors plan to return to this year’s Hardware Show. Hardware Association Ireland looks forward to continuing to celebrate innovation, deepening industry connections and growing the hardware community”.

Hardware Association Ireland is the representative body for Irish hardware and DIY retailers, builders’ merchants, distributers and manufacturers. It represents over 400 members nationwide and 26,000 staff in the sector.
